Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, administer, and accurately record prescribed medications
- Perform clinical procedures including dressing changes, catheter insertion, and IV placement
- Adjust and operate specialized medical equipment; interpret and document measurements
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records throughout the shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license or valid compact license
- BLS certification – American Heart Association (AHA) required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current skills checklist (within the last 12 months) pertinent to Medical Surgical specialty
- Two supervisory references completed within the last two years
- Local candidates (within 50 miles of the facility) are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Recent travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with regional referral center or high-volume Medical Surgical environments
