Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Varies)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Surgical acute care setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the shift
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver quality patient outcomes
- Adhere to holiday scheduling requirements, including working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Medical/Surgical nursing
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in an acute care hospital environment
- Ability to adapt to a variable shift schedule
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
