    Registered Nurse – Primary Care (Outpatient)

    Full-Time, Permanent, Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide clinical services in an outpatient setting, collaborating with providers and clinic staff to ensure quality patient care and efficient use of resources.
    • Offer leadership and direction to clinic staff, overseeing efficient operation of all aspects of the clinic including front desk and patient care functions.
    • Maintain medication inventory, supplies, and ensure required quality control checks are completed for Point of Care testing.
    • Accurately and thoroughly document all care and services provided in a timely and professional manner.
    • Assist providers and staff by anticipating needs and communicating effectively across departments to support patients and fellow clinic staff.
    • Oversee the opening and closing of provider clinics and adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and mandatory training requirements.
    Required Qualifications
    • Current, full, and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Alaska or another U.S. state; must have applied for an Alaska nursing license prior to start date.
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Clinical Competency Assessment must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed every three years.
    • High Risk Competency must be completed within 3 months of hire and renewed annually.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of nursing process, customer service principles, and safety and infection control practices.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience.
    • Proficiency in completing patient assessments, specimen collection, and use of medical and computer equipment.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
