Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Rehab (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM | Weekends Required | On-Call Required | Floating Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for inpatient rehab (Swing Bed) patients in a unit with up to 10 beds at a 1:10 patient ratio
- Absorb Med Surg patient assignments if swing bed volume decreases
- Float primarily within the Med Surg unit for patient assignments; may float to other units for tasking within existing competencies
- May be placed on call based on patient volume — no standing call; on-call time will not exceed limits outlined in the standard contract
- Document and manage patient care using the MedHost EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required
- Rehab and/or Med Surg experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Swing Bed or inpatient rehabilitation programs
- Familiarity with MedHost EMR
- Comfort working in a lower nurse-intensity rehab environment while maintaining full clinical competency
