Key Responsibilities
Coordinate total nursing care for an adult and geriatric patient population on a Medical Surgical unit
Participate in patient and family teaching throughout the continuum of care
Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing and interdisciplinary patient care team personnel to maintain standards for professional nursing practice
Float to additional units as needed, including custodial patient assignments with higher patient ratios and lower acuity
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
Active New Hampshire RN license or qualifying Compact license
Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
Proficiency with Epic EMR required
Must have own reliable personal vehicle for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience floating across multiple inpatient units in an acute care setting
Familiarity with adult-geriatric patient populations in a regional referral center environment
