Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Full-Time | Days | 3x12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical setting, managing a diverse patient population
- Perform and document neurological assessments using NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Prior experience with per diem (PD) work
- Travel Order (TO) required at time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
