Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 to 1:7
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments and medications as ordered
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
- Participate in floating to other units as required by staffing needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Tennessee RN License required
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR documentation
- Experience in high-acuity Medical Surgical environments
