    Travel RN – Ortho/Neuro (3x12s – Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | Start: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Projected Start: November 2, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed Ortho/Neuro unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
    • Care for patients including stroke, neurological conditions, post-operative back surgeries, and hip fractures
    • Utilize Alaris infusion pumps, Pyxis medication dispensing system, and Epic EMR for documentation and patient management
    • Participate in weekend rotation: every third Friday/Saturday, plus a minimum of 2 Sundays per schedule
    • Float to other units as required per facility needs
    • Maintain current BLS certification throughout the duration of the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license valid in Indiana (or compact eligibility)
    • Minimum 2 years of Ortho/Neuro nursing experience — must be clearly documented on resume/profile
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and meet weekend rotation requirements
    • Willingness and ability to float as needed
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
    • Prior experience with Epic EMR, Alaris, and/or Pyxis systems
    • Strong teamwork and collaborative communication skills in a fast-paced unit environment
