Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:4–5
- Work 3x12-hour day shifts, including every 3rd weekend (Saturday and Sunday), at least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per 6-week period, and holiday availability based on unit need
- Document patient care and clinical information using Epic EMR
- Float to like units as needed per facility float requirements
- Participate in full onboarding orientation; must be available every day during the first week
- Adhere to facility dress code: navy scrubs and scrub jacket (no hoodies, non-scrub jackets, or crocs)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Indiana
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience on a Medical Surgical unit
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- Flexible availability including weekends, select weekdays, and holidays as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in Acute Care or Medical Surgical nursing
- Experience caring for Medical Surgical patient populations
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a flexible work schedule
