Contract | Full-Time | Rotating Days/Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit across rotating day and night shifts
- Float within the hospital and potentially to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
- Participate in every-other-holiday scheduling as required by the facility
- Complete all pre-start modules and orientation requirements prior to entering the facility
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Current BLS certification required (AHA accepted only)
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience required
- Must be available to work every other holiday
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
- Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before being eligible to apply through an agency
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system preferred
- Two supervisor references preferred at time of submission
