Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Maintain patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:6 on Med-Surg/OBS and 1:4 on Step Down
- Administer and manage medications using Omnicell dispensing systems and Alaris infusion pumps
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in call rotation during periods of low census alongside full-time staff, as needed
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona or compact eligibility
- Experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Experience with Telemetry monitoring
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR, Alaris pumps, and Omnicell medication systems
Preferred Experience / Skills- Step Down unit experience
- Familiarity with high-acuity patient populations in a combined Med-Surg/Telemetry setting
