Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
- Administer and manage medications safely, with proficiency evaluated via safeMedicate assessment during orientation
- Document and track hours worked using the designated time-tracking platform
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes in an acute care environment
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
- Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
- One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references will not be considered)
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience gained within a single location, though combined experience across locations is considered
- Familiarity with ECG rhythm interpretation and medication administration safety assessments
- Background free of open licensing or background check issues
