Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Perform and interpret ECG rhythm recognition as assessed during orientation
• Administer and manage medications safely, with competency verified via assessment during orientation
• Maintain accurate documentation and log hours worked through the designated time-tracking system
• Participate in required orientation modules and annual hands-on competency requirements as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - permanent Ohio license or compact state license required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• Active AHA BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA ACLS certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment worked within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted; co-worker references will not be considered)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience within a single location for the required specialty, though combined experience across locations is considered
• Familiarity with ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessment platforms
• Background free of open licensing or background check issues
