Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every other weekend required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment with a ratio of up to 6 patients to 1 nurse
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately within the facility's EMR system
- Adhere to unit protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies throughout each shift
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact or Alabama RN License required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
