Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Manage a patient assignment with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and clinical standards throughout the duration of the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active Compact or Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
