Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes in status
Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Meditech
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to other units as needed per facility floating policy
Adhere to facility dress code, infection control, and professional conduct standards
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 2+ years strongly preferred
Experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing
Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Compliance with facility appearance standards: no artificial, gel, or next-gen nails; visible piercings limited to ears; body art covered when possible; neat hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer
Preferred Experience / Skills
2 or more years of Med Surg / Telemetry RN experience
Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
Previous travel nursing experience in an acute care environment
