Job TitleRegistered Nurse - Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Float)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights, 3×12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry setting with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Float across acute care units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- Comply with facility immunization requirements, including mandatory Influenza vaccination (no exemptions accepted)
Required Qualifications- Valid Kentucky RN license or active Compact (NLC) RN license - no pending licenses accepted; must be fully compliant with NLC guidelines
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg Telemetry experience required
- BLS certification required at time of submission (AHA only)
- NIHSS certification required at time of submission
- Must reside more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Strong foundational knowledge in acute care and telemetry monitoring
- Ability to adapt to a float pool environment across multiple units
