Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 72 hours bi-weekly | No on-call requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Support post-surgical patient recovery and optimization in alignment with established order sets and protocols
- Monitor and interpret telemetry data to assess patient status and respond appropriately
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry setting
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR
- Background in post-surgical or orthopedic patient care
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in an acute care environment
