Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Full-Time | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
Monitor and manage post-surgical patients in alignment with surgeon preferences, established order sets, and protocols
Utilize telemetry monitoring to assess and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes throughout the surgical recovery process
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and progress using the facility's electronic medical record system
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
Valid driver's license with permanent home address available for submission verification
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
Background in orthopedic or post-surgical patient care
