Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during overnight shifts
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, treatments, and responses in the facility EMR system
- Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and standards of nursing practice
Required Qualifications
- Active Alabama RN license or active Multistate (Compact) RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of recent Medical Surgical RN experience
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify as a travel placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or acute care Medical Surgical environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in hospital settings
