Contract | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, alternating weekends) | 13 Weeks | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in an acute care setting
- Manage a patient assignment in accordance with unit staffing ratios (6:1)
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using the facility EMR system
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient treatment plans and transitions of care
- Participate in alternating weekend shifts as required by unit scheduling
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Must maintain a permanent address of at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and unit workflows
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced acute care environment
