Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical Renal unit with a patient ratio of 1:6-7
- Perform nursing assessments, interventions, and documentation using Epic electronic health records
- Participate in every-other-weekend and holiday rotation as required
- Float to other Medical Surgical units within scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
- Be prepared to participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact RN license - must be active and in hand prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible - local candidates are not accepted
- All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial submission; time off requests after submission will not be accepted
- Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in a Renal or Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with Epic charting platform
