Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg unit serving adult and geriatric populations
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:6 in an 18-bed unit setting
- Document accurately and efficiently using Meditech EHR
- Float to other units as required based on staffing needs
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage with no on-call requirements
- Attend weekly Monday orientation sessions as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (5 years strongly preferred)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EHR
- Willingness to float to other units as needed
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of Med/Surg experience in an acute care setting
- Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities
