Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg / Post Partum (Nights)

Contract | Travel | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 12-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a combined Medical Surgical and Post Partum unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population including med surg and post partum patients
- Maintain competency and comfort with both Medical Surgical and Post Partum patient populations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required — may be completed prior to start date if not currently held at time of submission
- Comfort and experience working with combined Med Surg and Post Partum patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience on a combined Med Surg / Post Partum unit
- Experience in a travel or contract nursing capacity
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
