Contract | 12 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a combined Medical Surgical and Post Partum unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a blended Med Surg and Post Partum patient population
- Maintain ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications and apply competencies in clinical practice
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and documentation standards throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Arkansas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical RN experience
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required (may be completed prior to start date if not currently held at time of submission)
- Must be comfortable caring for both Medical Surgical and Post Partum patient populations
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working on a combined Med Surg / Post Partum unit
- Experience in a travel nursing capacity or ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
