    Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Night Shift)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a busy 33-bed Medical/Telemetry unit with up to 49 patients, maintaining a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on night shift
    • Care for surgical flap patients, including spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
    • Perform wound care, occasional bowel program management, and light burn care for low-acuity burn patients
    • Monitor patients using telemetry equipment and document care accurately within the Meditech EMR system
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses and patient care technicians during night shift operations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Colorado or compact state eligibility
    • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Proficiency or ability to quickly adapt to Meditech EMR
    • Ability to thrive in a high-census, fast-paced medical floor environment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working with spinal cord injury (SCI) patients
    • Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
    • Background in burn care or wound care management
