Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00-07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend coverage, which may vary based on unit need
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Accurately document patient information and clinical data using the EPIC EMR system
- Administer and manage medications utilizing the Omnicell medication system
- Float to other units or facilities as needed based on census demands; floating is required for this assignment
- Complete all required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- Participate in orientation and fulfill annual compliance requirements as directed
Required Qualifications- Active South Carolina RN License (or compact eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit
- Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this assignment (night shift Medical Tele/Adult Cardiac Tele exception applies); candidates between 50-99.9 miles may be subject to a reduced bill rate; candidates under 50 miles are ineligible
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience in Telemetry, ER Holding, or Cardiac Telemetry settings
- First-time travelers will be considered based on relevant unit experience
