Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Float between Medical Surgical floors as required to support staffing needs
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Adhere to unit protocols, scheduling guidelines, and facility dress code requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- PALS certification required within 6 months of start date
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments and float between units
