Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights

Location

Durant, OK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
• Float between Medical Surgical units as required
• Document patient care and clinical information using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Adhere to unit-specific protocols, scrub color requirements (black), and scheduling policies

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required (must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Experience working in a high-census Medical Surgical environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to floating between units
