Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient information and care activities using the facility's electronic medical record system
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS certification required prior to start date (submissions accepted with ACLS pending)
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical record system
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical setting
