    Schedule / Job Type

    Full-Time | Permanent | Night Shift (7P–7A) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit managing common diagnoses including NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, and AKI
    • Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5 (up to 1:6), working alongside PCTs assigned at a 1:8 ratio
    • Monitor telemetry throughout the shift, reviewing and signing off on strips read by monitoring technicians
    • Serve in or support charge nurse and house supervisor roles as applicable
    • Float to ICU, ER, or behavioral health unit if experience level qualifies; otherwise floating remains within Med Surg
    • Complete department-specific orientation using a provided binder and structured onboarding shift
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip sign-off
    • Background in ICU, ER, or behavioral health settings for potential float opportunities
    • Familiarity with high-acuity diagnoses such as NSTEMI, sepsis, and AKI
