Full-Time | Permanent | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit managing common diagnoses including NSTEMI, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, and AKI
• Monitor and sign off on telemetry strips throughout each shift in collaboration with monitor technicians
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, with the possibility of up to 1:6 based on census
• Collaborate with PCTs, charge nurses, and house supervisors to ensure safe and effective patient care
• Adhere to unit dress code requirements including closed-toe shoes and professional hygiene standards

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip review
• Prior experience in ICU, Emergency Room, or Behavioral Health settings (may allow for additional float opportunities)
• Familiarity with high-acuity Med Surg diagnoses such as NSTEMI and sepsis management
