Job Title

Med Surg / MCU - Registered Nurse (Travel)

Location

Davenport, FL | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7P–7A) | Day Shift (7A–7P) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within a Medical Surgical / MCU setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout assigned shifts
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Maintain BLS certification and adhere to all applicable clinical standards and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical or step-down/MCU environment
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and days as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with MCU or intermediate care unit workflows
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
