    Travel Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Diabetic/Endocrine Unit)

    Location

    Dallas, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected start date: September 22, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Diabetic/Endocrine Medical Surgical unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Perform general medical-surgical nursing practices and procedures in alignment with unit protocols
    • Utilize Meditech EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
    • Float to acute care areas as needed, including general surgery, renal transplant, telemetry, neurology, and orthopedics
    • Collaborate with a unit team consisting of RNs and Patient Care Technicians across day and night shifts
    • Adhere to unit dress code requirements (Royal Blue Scrubs) and fulfill weekend shift obligations (4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required; candidates without this will not be considered
    • Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Strong time management skills – required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a Diabetic or Endocrine specialty care setting
    • Familiarity with Meditech EMR
    • Comfort floating across multiple acute care specialties including telemetry, neurology, and orthopedics
