Night Shift Travel Nurse – Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 36 hours/week | Monday–Friday with rotating weekends and holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Accept and manage a patient assignment on a 3-lead (Masimo) telemetry unit
- Follow the 5 Rights of Medication Administration to ensure patient safety
- Provide wound care in accordance with physician orders
- Document accurately and consistently according to facility policy
- Perform patient admissions and discharges per established orders
- Apply critical thinking skills to assess and respond to changing patient conditions
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state eligibility
- Experience in a Medical Surgical nursing setting
- Ability to complete telemetry competency during orientation
- Strong documentation skills in compliance with hospital policy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working on a telemetry or step-down unit
- Familiarity with Masimo monitoring systems
- Previous travel nursing experience
