    Job Title

    Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

    Location

    Chattanooga, Tennessee

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: August 10, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
    • Manage and monitor patients with respiratory diseases, renal disease, GI illnesses, and telemetry needs
    • Perform and oversee procedures including CVC management, indwelling catheters, and heparin drips
    • Utilize Meditech electronic documentation system for accurate and timely charting
    • Participate in weekend shift rotation (4 shifts per 28-day schedule) and holiday rotation
    • Engage in floating rotation as needed and uphold patient experience standards using communication boards
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Proficiency with standard medical equipment including IV pumps, SCDs, and walkers
    • Strong teamwork, compassion, collaboration, and communication skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with Meditech documentation system
    • Background working alongside Clinical Coordinators, Unit Secretaries, PCTs, and Case Management teams
    • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring in a Med Surg setting
