Schedule / Job TypeContract | Night Shift | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on a 54-bed Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule, with holiday coverage required (Thanksgiving or Christmas/Christmas Eve based on unit need, plus other recognized holidays as needed)
- Float within scope to like units or sister facilities as needed to meet staffing demands
- Perform IV starts as a required clinical skill
- Document patient care using Epic electronic health records
- Be aware that during hurricane season (June-November), staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical RN experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- IV start skills required
- Must live at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
Preferred Experience / Skills- Telemetry experience and/or cardiac drip management
- Prior experience with Epic charting system
