    Key Responsibilities
    • Direct and coordinate members of the patient care team, focusing on the provision of individualized, quality patient care consistent with Maine State standards
    • Develop patient care plans in partnership with physicians, other care team members, the patient, and applicable family members
    • Demonstrate professional nursing practice utilizing the nursing process — assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for assigned patients across age groups (pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric)
    • Promote teamwork with medical staff and personnel throughout the facility in relation to the unit
    • Adhere to hospital policies regarding confidentiality, sexual harassment, advance directives, and the Americans with Disabilities Act
    Required Qualifications
    • Current RN licensure in the State of Maine, or Authorization to Practice pending licensure by endorsement
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
    • ACLS and PALS required within 6 months of hire
    • Excellent assessment, communication, computer, and documentation skills
    • Ability to function independently
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting
    • Experience working with diverse patient populations across multiple age groups
