Job TitleTravel RN - Orthopedics / Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: November 16, 2026
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and Medical Surgical unit with up to 30 and 37 beds respectively
- Manage a patient load at an expected ratio of 6:1, utilizing teamwork strategies to deliver patient-centered care
- Document patient information and clinical data using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Float to inpatient units as needed to take patients, and assist with tasks in the CCU and ED as directed
- Collaborate with PCTs, SNEs, and unit secretaries to support efficient unit operations
- Adhere to unit dress code policies; scrubs required - no fleece, hoodies, sweatshirts, denim, or open-toed/holed shoes
Required Qualifications- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
- Willingness to manage a full patient load and float to other inpatient units as needed
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in an Orthopedic or Medical Surgical inpatient setting
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record systems
- Experience working in a high-census environment with higher patient ratios
