Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and implement the plan of medical care while ensuring nursing care is delivered in a safe and competent manner.
- Assess patients' conditions, monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient status, and report findings appropriately.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for reactions or side effects.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records and documentation.
- Consult and coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Modify patient treatment plans based on individual patient responses and conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of Level 1 / Academic Medical Center (AMC) experience required.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and clinical documentation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive patient information.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience providing age-appropriate care across relevant patient populations.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
- Familiarity with interdisciplinary care coordination in a fast-paced acute care environment.
