Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to ED boarder patients across multiple care areas, including hallway spaces and treatment bays
- Navigate several different care areas to retrieve patients, medications, and supplies as needed
- Manage a fast-paced, high-turnover patient environment with professionalism and clinical efficiency
- Adapt quickly to a non-traditional care setting with constant activity and varying patient acuity
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environment
- Comfort with providing care in non-traditional settings, including hallways and shared spaces
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Background in Medical-Surgical or Emergency Department nursing
- Experience managing high patient turnover and variable workloads
