Inpatient General Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) – Day/Night Rotating

Contract | Full-Time | Day/Night Rotating Shift | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient general surgery setting
- Monitor and assess surgical patients pre- and post-operatively
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Document patient status, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license required (must be valid in the state of Massachusetts or through Compact licensure)
- 2+ years of Level 1 experience required
- 1+ years of travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center environment
- Strong adaptability and ability to transition quickly into new clinical settings
- Familiarity with general surgery patient populations and post-operative care protocols
