Key Responsibilities
Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
Monitor and maintain competency standards among clinical staff
Contribute to appropriate resource management related to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact equivalent
Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Ability to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
Experience with clinical staff supervision or charge nurse responsibilities
Familiarity with quality and safety initiatives in an acute care environment
