Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and implement direct clinical care for assigned patients on a per-shift basis
- Supervise staff to whom appropriate patient care has been delegated
- Support nursing leadership to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care is delivered
- Monitor and maintain competency standards among clinical staff
- Contribute to appropriate resource management related to patient care at the unit level
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida or compact equivalent
- Telemetry or Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a telemetry or step-down unit setting
- Experience with clinical staff supervision or charge nurse responsibilities
- Familiarity with quality and safety initiatives in an acute care environment
