Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday | No on-call requirements | Expected 72 hours bi-weekly
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with telemetry, progressive care, and swing bed patients
- Perform IV starts, nursing assessments, telemetry monitoring, and related clinical duties
- Manage patient ratios of approximately 1:6 for acute care and 1:10 for swing beds, with PCT and House Supervisor support available
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in a 20-bed unit with an average daily census of 10
- Adhere to facility policies including scrub color requirements (navy blue)
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN licensure
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- Experience with ICU drips
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
