Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 weekend shifts per month required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
- Perform and assist with procedures including general surgery recovery, EKG, Echo, Colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac management
- Operate unit equipment including Welch-Allyn vital sign machines, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) to coordinate patient care alongside case management and PT/OT/ST teams
- Wear designated grey scrubs per unit dress code
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Missouri or a compact state
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Telemetry monitoring experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
