Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 48 Hours Guaranteed (Preferred) | 3 Weekend Shifts Per Month

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a 1:5–6 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including general surgery, EKG, Echo, Colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac management
• Operate unit equipment including Welch-Allen vital sign machines, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) to coordinate patient care alongside case management and PT/OT/ST teams
• Adhere to facility dress code: Grey scrubs for RN/LPN

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Experience in a telemetry or combined Med-Surg/Telemetry setting
• Interest in precepting or working with nursing students
