Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3 weekend shifts per month required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 27-bed Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit with a patient ratio of 1:5–6
• Perform and assist with procedures including general surgery recovery, EKG, Echo, Colonoscopy, TEE, EEG, and wound vac management
• Operate unit equipment including Welch-Allyn vital sign machines, glucometers, Polar Ice, and CBI
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in daily multidisciplinary rounds (MDRs) to coordinate patient care alongside case management and PT/OT/ST teams
• Wear designated grey scrubs per unit dress code

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Missouri or a compact state
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical RN experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
