    Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Onsite | Up to 26 Weeks | 36 or 48 hours per week available

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving a general mix of medical patients alongside a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs
    • Work on an Observation Unit functioning as an ER overflow, supporting rapid admission and discharge cycles with a focus on continuous reassessment of patient readiness for discharge
    • Maintain patient ratios of approximately 1:4–5; ratios may extend to 1:7 when working in an RN/LPN team model
    • Float to other Medical Surgical units as needed, typically approximately once per week based on unit need
    • Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
    • Adhere to facility compliance requirements including timely completion of orientation modules and maintaining current licensure and certifications
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
    • Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
    • Willingness to float to other units and work with a variety of clinical staff
    • Ability to work every other weekend; no holiday time-off requests guaranteed
    • Supervisor-level references required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Travel nursing experience strongly preferred
    • Emergency Room (ER) experience will be considered in lieu of or in addition to Med Surg background
    • Experience working in fast-paced, high-turnover patient environments
