Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient care functions in accordance with State of Maine Board of Nursing standards and facility policies and procedures
- Provide direct patient care on a Surgical/Orthopedic unit under the supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain flexibility in scheduling as required by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Current Maine RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
- Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to multi-task
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Telemetry experience
- MOAB or CPI certification
