Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Medical Surgical unit with a night shift patient ratio of 6:1
- Utilize telemetry monitoring and unit equipment including bladder scanner, vital sign machines, and lifts
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including RNs, LVNs, and PCTs to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Complete 4 weekend shifts per month as required by unit scheduling guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of hospital experience
- No on-call requirements for this position
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 3 or more years of nursing experience
- Experience with telemetry monitoring in a Medical Surgical setting
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Receptive to feedback and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and accountability in patient care
